PointNurse is a digital health community providing virtual visit, engagement, patient monitoring, and healthcare delivery services. Community members use our digital health platform to meet and consult with clients online, collect, monitor, and interpret digital health data, conduct digital health gigs, manage patients, educate, and perform other activities. All healthcare, behavioral health, social workers, and supporting professionals are welcome to join.
Our network provides services to businesses, health systems, governments, wearable companies, and insurers seeking innovative digital health solutions. We are reimagining what healthcare will look like in the future utilizing mobile phones, video consultations, remote data access, and self-exam devices.
Provider registration on PointNurse is quick and easy. After registration, you set up your own digital health presence to share with your friends, families, and patients. You can optionally share your clinic page on Facebook, Twitter, and Linkedin. Digital health presence options include a personal PointNurse profile, your own clinic or personal branded profile, or a team page profile. Bring your own patients and clients or work on PointNurse population management or digital gig assignments. Active community members are eligible to earn credits towards ownership in the PointNurse network. Students are welcome to join!
Cyrus Maaghul, Founder

Cyrus Maaghul is an entrepreneur on a mission to empower healthcare consumers and providers with digital health products and telehealth solutions. Mr. Maaghul has spent the past 25 years building technology based businesses including two cloud payment companies, both of which successfully exited. In addition, Cyrus has advised companies on advanced technologies and systems including Deloitte Consulting, Digital River, Fidelity Investments, IBM, and the Department of Justice. He also served as an advisor to the US Department of Defense in Iraq. He received his masters degree in Applied Mathematics from SUNY at Stony Brook and a certification in International Security from George Washington University. He enjoys hiking, sports, cooking, and practicing Bikram Yoga. He is a staunch advocate for domestic abuse victims and support groups. Cyrus is currently based in Nashville.
Elaine Comeau, RN, MS, CEO

Elaine is a dynamic leader with extensive experience and proven success in leading healthcare systems and organizations. Through a focus on patient outcomes, she emphasizes relentless measurement and continuous improvement of key processes and staff effectiveness. Elaine formerly served as Chief Nursing Executive at Philips Healthcare focused on telehealth solutions and strategic business development. Elaine received her MS in Health Policy and Management from Harvard University's School of Public Health. Elaine spends time between Boston and Florida.
Roni Fox, FNP, Advisor

Roni is a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner and consultant based in Phoenix, Arizona. Roni received her MSN/FNP from the University of Arizona and BSN from the University of Phoenix. She was a technology professional prior to pursuing her career in healthcare. She is currently Treasurer of the Arizona Nurse Practitioner Council. Roni enjoys reading, gardening, anything organic or earth-friendly.
Dana Knight, RN, Advisor

Dana is an "in the trenches" contract nurse working for various healthcare systems in the Western United States. Prior to nursing, Dana was a business development executive in the software and technology industries. Dana received his BSN and RN degrees from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and a BS in Physiology from Cal State University - Long Beach. Dana enjoys CrossFit, fly fishing and other outdoor sports. Dana is based in Boulder.
Asefeh Faraz, PhD, FNP, Advisor

Asefeh is a Family Nurse Practitioner and Assistant Professor at The George Washington School of Nursing. She was previously a Nurse Practitioner at the University of Virginia Health System. She received her BS in Psychology and BA in Spanish from the University of Washington, as well as her MSN and PhD in Nursing from Yale University. She has worked in a multitude of clinical areas including pediatrics, college health, urgent care, and care coordination. Asefeh enjoys cooking, traveling, and practicing yoga.
Mitchel Schwindt, MD, Advisor

Mitchel is a board-certified emergency medicine physician, author, and clinical consultant. In addition to practicing emergency medicine, he is engaged in a multitude of projects related to medicine and internet entrepreneurial activities. He has hands-on telemedicine experience and has published a book on telemedicine best practices. Dr. Schwindt completed his residency at Michigan State University and received his MD from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine. Mitchel is a triathlete and marathon runner who enjoys pushing the outer limits. Mitchel is based in Oregon.

He has held executive posts at JP Morgan, Honeywell, Digital River, and Capella Education. Alex works with many entrepreneurs as an investor, advisor, and board member. He is currently lead investor and board member for an emerging AI nutrition platform, MyFormulary, and recently led corporate development for a Cressy & Company portfolio healthcare education school. Alex is based in Minnesota.
